Dear Village at Belmar Community,
We’re providing you an update regarding our community Covid-19 status. Based on the surveillance testing conducted on December 7th, an associate tested positive for Covid-19. This associate is home and recovering and is now experiencing symptoms.
We will continue with testing of all residents and associates twice weekly, on Mondays and Thursdays, over the next few weeks.
Outdoor visitation continues to be on hold and window visits and facetime calls will be in place during this time. The Assisted Living dining room will also remain closed and residents are being encouraged to remain in their apartments unless they are being escorted to participate in a window visit with the proper PPE.
We have been in continued close communication with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and Jefferson County Health Department and are following their direction and protocols, as well as those of our Medical Consultant, Dr. Gagandeep Singh.
We are putting together a communication piece with details on the upcoming Covid-19 vaccine and administration plan. I think we can agree that this cannot come soon enough for our residents and frontline associates and we are so thankful that this is close to becoming a reality for our community.
Please remember that you can always check our Hotline for regular updates and those can be heard at (720) 545-0363. If you have any further questions, please reach out to Village at Belmar’s Executive Director, Rebecca Norris, at (303) 351-5455.
Sincerely,
Tom & Susie Finley – Founder & Principal
