Dear Village at Belmar Community,
We are happy to inform our residents, families, and staff that there have been no cases of Covid-19 within the community either of residents or associates within the last several weeks. The careful compliance with guidelines has been effective in protecting everyone. Thank you for your vigilance. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
We will continue to test all residents and associates weekly. We ask everyone to cooperate with testing even though you may be fully vaccinated. There have been some breakthrough cases of Covid-19 in individuals who were vaccinated. Additionally, the effectiveness of the vaccine for some of the variant Covid-19 viruses that have been identified have not been determined. To help identify these situations as soon as possible, we will continue with weekly testing.
You may have noticed that cases in Jefferson County have been increasing once again, indicating that continued careful compliance is required. This includes wearing masks, for residents when they are out of their apartment, and associates and visitors at all times. It also includes frequent hand sanitizing and social distancing. Your cooperation with following these guidelines has been instrumental in keeping associates and residents safe.
As always, we have been in continued close communication with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and Jefferson County Health Department and are following their direction and protocols, as well as those of our Medical Consultant, Dr. Gagandeep Singh. We will notify you of any further changes.
If you have any further questions, please reach out to Village at Belmar’s Executive Director, Rebecca Norris, at (303)351-5455.
